This is one of my top favorite pizza restaurants. The pizzas always come out hot and fresh. Everything on the menu tastes good. The employees here are excellent too. They are always on top of their game. I recommend everyone come try this place out. ***If anyone likes my honest reviews, then please like my post and follow my google account*** -Thanks
Overview
Walking into Streets Of New York for the first time, I immediately noticed how it blends a neighborhood diner vibe with the confidence of a place that knows its food. Located at 6740 W Deer Valley Rd, Glendale, AZ 85308, United States, this spot has become a familiar stop for locals who want something comforting without feeling rushed. Iโve eaten here with family after long workdays and also grabbed quick lunches between errands, and the experience has stayed consistently solid.
The menu leans heavily into Italian-American classics, with a clear focus on pizza, pasta, and hearty sandwiches. What stands out is the way the kitchen sticks to New York-style pizza traditions while adapting to local tastes. Thin crust, generous slices, and a sauce that balances acidity and sweetness are the foundation. According to data from the National Restaurant Association, pizza remains one of the top five most-ordered foods in the United States, and places like this succeed because they respect the basics rather than reinventing them for noveltyโs sake.
On one visit, I watched the staff stretch dough by hand, letting it rest just long enough to develop flavor. That process matters. Food science research published by the American Institute of Baking shows that proper dough fermentation improves texture and digestibility, which explains why the crust here feels light instead of heavy. The cheese blend melts evenly, avoiding the greasy layer that turns many slices into a mess halfway through.
Beyond pizza, the pasta dishes deserve attention. The baked ziti, for example, arrives bubbling with cheese and evenly cooked noodles, not the mushy kind that often shows up in casual diners. I once asked a server how they keep it consistent, and she explained that the kitchen preps sauces daily and bakes to order during peak hours. That extra step shows up in flavor and texture, especially when compared to chain restaurants relying on frozen components.
Reviews from regulars often mention portion sizes, and theyโre not exaggerating. Plates come out full, which aligns with consumer preference data from Yelpโs dining trend reports showing that value and portion satisfaction strongly influence repeat visits. Streets Of New York seems to understand that balance between price, quantity, and quality, especially for families and groups.
The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, with sports on the TVs and booths that encourage lingering. Iโve overheard conversations between staff and repeat customers, which adds to the sense of trust. Consistency builds credibility, and in restaurant terms, thatโs just as important as culinary skill. The location in Glendale also makes it convenient, sitting close to residential areas and shopping, which helps explain the steady flow of diners throughout the week.
One thing worth noting is that this isnโt a fine-dining destination. If someone expects experimental plating or rare ingredients, they might feel underwhelmed. However, that limitation is also the strength. The focus stays on familiar flavors done well, which aligns with research from Cornell Universityโs Food and Brand Lab showing that comfort food often scores higher in customer satisfaction than overly complex dishes.
Over time, my experiences here have reinforced why this restaurant maintains strong word-of-mouth. From the reliable menu to the approachable service, it fits neatly into everyday dining routines. The Glendale location, like others under the same name, benefits from a clear identity: straightforward Italian-American food served in a relaxed setting, without unnecessary flair but with plenty of care behind the scenes.

The service was great and the food was delicious Pizza's and wings are the best! With their fresh baked breads smell so good and salads in house made croutons yum!!
Weโre pizza Snobs. We havenโt been to streets of New York Pizza in over 10 years. I have forgotten how good there pizza really is. We were able to walk in and sit down right away. Our waitress was quick to ask for our drink order and if we wanted any appetizers. We ordered a pepperoni pizza, a regular salad, and some wings. There pizza was the right temperature so that it was hot but didnโt burn your mouth. Itโs was the perfect blend of salt from the cheese and sweet from the sauce. The service was amazing and fast. They were great with my kids. And they kept our drink glasses full.
Update: repeat: Ordered the southwest pizza, sauce on side, no parsley, add green olives... It was so amazing!!! Consistently more than happy with Streets of New York pizza. Tried the new Southwest Pizza. Chipotle Ranch on the side. Added green olives. Holy moly it was so good!! (Would have liked smaller cuts of peppers and onions so it is more evenly distributed. But not a complaint). The chipotle ranch is a thinner vinegarette type sauce. Great to dip pizza in. However was a bit thin as a sauce on it, but some of the best bites had no sauce at all. (And I am a sauce person!). We also ordered our regular pizza just in case. I know it's going to be great because it always is, but I'm in love with the southwest pizza... Alfredo is great. We order as a side for crust dipping. Phone service was great. Order was correct. Online order system has changed, not a fan. But when you call they are more than accommodating. Super nice.
I haven't been to a Streets in a long time. We were there to watch a tournament game, have some beers and apps. I appreciated the complimentary garlic bread. Streets needs better TV's, a better layout of them. We ordered wings, and seasoned fries. I do like that their wings are baked and not fried, and they were very good. The seasoned fries tasted the same as regular fries. The beer was cold, service friendly, although uneven. This is a nice place that has a laid back, welcoming atmosphere. A family place that we will definitely return to.
